ARC Review:

I’ve dived into dark romance and cruised through hockey romance, but I never expected to land in the crazy scene of dark hockey romance—let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I wasn’t sure if I would really get into this book at first because, honestly, the first half had me itching to jump in and give Jack a good punch! I couldn’t wrap my head around how I could ever like this awful MMC, but isn’t that what makes dark romances so captivating? I seriously hated Jack—like, with every ounce of my being! But then he totally surprised me and flipped everything around, letting me see his feelings and the stuff he was dealing with. From the get-go, I was all about the FMC; she was the strong, loyal character that kept me hooked in those early chapters. With her fiery personality and a fierce drive for justice, she was such a badass. Jack tortured and bullied her, but there was no way he could break her. Instead, she managed to dig her way into his heart, and he was never going to let her go after that. This hockey romance has some pretty dark vibes, so definitely check out the triggers to see if it’s your jam. If it is, get ready for a wild dark hockey romance that’ll have you binge-reading until 3 AM!
