Series: Happily Ever Mishaps #3
Synopsis: She’s a corporate lawyer; he’s a carefree bodyguard. Zoe is packing up her life after leaving her commitment-phobic ex-boyfriend and finds herself at a destination wedding with a grumpy but ridiculously handsome bodyguard, Maximillian McCallister. Despite their differences, they end up having an incredible one-night stand that changes everything. Now, back in Boston, Zoe faces the challenges of her career, family, and the unexpected result of a positive pregnancy test involving Max, who happens to be her brother-in-law’s best friend. It’s a complicated situation that turns Zoe’s world upside down.
ARC Review: This book was so much fun, with the main characters being total opposites who are super attracted to each other. I couldn’t get enough of the texting scenes; they really brought so much energy to the story. The short chapters added to the book’s fast-paced nature, making it an electrifying read. The playful banter between Zoe and Max was captivating, their clashes filled with laughter, and their chemistry simply sizzling. While I yearned for a deeper exploration of their love story, the rapid progression left me craving more. If you’re up for a fun and enchanting romance, this book gets my total seal of approval.
