**********SPOILER ALERT************

A Court of Mist and Fury, the second installment in the ACOTAR series, propels readers into the captivating fantasy world of Feyre Archeron. Struggling to cope with the aftermath of her harrowing experiences Under the Mountain, Feyre must navigate the perilous and enchanting realm of the Fae. Armed with newfound powers, she embarks on a quest to reclaim her identity, encountering political intrigues, potent magic, and the complexities of love and loyalty along the way. Amidst a backdrop of mesmerizing world-building, Feyre is accompanied by enigmatic and compelling allies as she unravels the enigmas of the Fae domains while confronting both internal and external foes. A mesmerizing fusion of romance, action, and richly crafted settings, A Court of Mist and Fury ensnares readers with its emotional intensity and enthralling storytelling.

OMG, this book has completely taken over my thoughts, and I couldn’t be happier about it! The second installment in the ACOTAR series absolutely blew me away. If I thought the first book deserved five stars, this one deserves like 10 stars – it was just that INCREDIBLE! While Rhys hinted at his charm in the first book, I didn’t just fall in love with him in the second book – I became utterly and completely obsessed with Rhys.

Let’s have a chat about Tamlin, and boy, do I have some strong feelings. He’s become this pitiful, unbearable, feeble character, and honestly, I just want to give him a good punch in the face. I might even detest Tamlin more than Amarantha! He hides behind the customs and justice of the Spring Court to mistreat Feyre, treating her like she’s some fragile doll that will shatter if not kept under lock and key. It’s a shame to see Feyre’s friendship with Lucien suffer because of his loyalty to Tamlin, but I still believe Lucien has potential for redemption in the future.

Here are the main reasons you should pick up this book right now and stay up all night reading like I did.

  1. Rhys and Feyre’s love story – is a captivating tale of enemies turned lovers. The exquisite manner in which their relationship unfolds is nothing short of beautiful. Their realization of the depth of their feelings for each other completely eclipses Feyre’s previous connection with Tamlin.
  2. Rhysand – Because OMG he is everything and more!
  3. Azriel– Because we know nothing about our shadowsinger, yet we LOVE HIM!
  4. Cassian – Because how can you not love this oversized hilarious bat boy!

Favorite Quotes:

“To the people who look at the stars and wish, Rhys.”
Rhys clinked his glass against mine. “To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.”

“He thinks he’ll be remembered as the villain in the story. But I forgot to tell him that the villain is usually the person who locks up the maiden and throws away the key. He was the one who let me out.”

“Rhysand is the most handsome High Lord. Rhysand is the most delightful High Lord. Rhysand is the most cunning High Lord.”
