This is by far one of the BEST dark romance stories out there. This book is over 600 pages and I practically finished it in one sitting BECAUSE IT’S JUST THAT GOOD! Ryat Alexander Archer will forever be on my list of top book boyfriends. If you like the TOUCH HER YOU DIE! trope this is 100% a book for you.

Ryat is a part of the L.O.R.D.S. which is a college society similar to a fraternity at Barrington University. However, this society secretly goes on murder missions and in return are given high powered positions in the world once they graduate. The first three years of college they go through trials (including celibacy) and then if they make it through their trials and into their senior year they have officially become a L.O.R.D. In their senior year, they are able to choose a CHOSEN from a specific list of girls.

A CHOSEN is a girl in which they have full control over, the L.O.R.D says jump the chosen jumps, end of discussion. The L.O.R.D owns them for their senior year at Barrington, the catch being the girls have to agree to be chosen by them in the beginning. Once they are chosen there is no going back. Ryat however was not able to choose who he wanted for his chosen. He was TOLD to choose Blakely from someone high-up in the L.O.R.D.S society. Now here is where things get even more complicated, Blakely has a boyfriend who just so happens to also be in his senior year at Barrington and is also a L.O.R.D. Let’s just say he is not happy when he finds out Ryat choose Blakely to be his Chosen.
