So Not Meant To Be

Genre : Romantic Comedy

Series: Cane Brothers #2

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Review:

**********SPOILER ALERT************

Rating 4 stars purely for JP Cane, Kelsey almost brought this down to 3 based on the last 20% of the book. Makes no sense why JP had to win her back when it should have been the other way around. He deserved better. Its one thing to be insecure its another thing to let your insecurities hurt someone else as much as she did JP, and didn’t even apologize. She basically ghosted him, and he had to win her back. Makes no sense.

Other than the fact that the FMC is annoying as hell with her every page pity party this book was hilarious. It is the second installment in the Cane Brothers series, which follows three brothers who just happened to be Real Estate Billionaires that are not looking for love, but somehow still end up finding it. Tropes included in this book are boss/employee relationship and enemies to lovers. The banter between the two main characters in the first half of the book is hysterical and the main reason why I rated this book 4 stars. If you want a fluffy banter filled romcom this book is for you.
